For my 34th birthday, a friend gifted me a box of 100 postcards, of writers and artists, from the National Portrait Gallery, with a note that read "send your wonderful words out into the world!".

This is what happened.

The rules are as such:

1) Take the postcard out of the box
2) Send the postcard to the first person that it makes you think of
3) Write about that person & why the card made you think of them
4) No looking ahead
